Evelyn, a parentless shepherd, rescues Prince Arthur and gives him her heart. Betrayed by the gods and sacrificed by Arthur when he permits her mutilation, she vanishes into an enchanted lake and rises again as royalty of the realm below. With Lucian at her side, she uncovers Zeus and Dora's scheme, strips Arthur of his authority, and takes Hades' seat. Her first law declares that bloodlines will never rule anyone's destiny.
