Coney, a rabbit-girl adopted by the rabbit clan, has been betrothed to Lyall, the heir of the wolf clan, since childhood. But she has always believed Lyall loves her sister Bellahara—his eyes always follow her, and he even enrolled in the same military academy as her. What Coney doesn't know: Bellahara made Lyall promise he must defeat her in combat before he can confess to Coney. Too shy to speak her heart, Coney pours her hidden feelings—and her wildest fantasies—into her diary. When Lyall secretly reads it, jealousy ignites. He vows to act out every scene, determined to uncover the man she truly desires.
