Vera, a half‑blood werewolf, is trapped by her uncle Riley's morbid obsession with her mother. His betrayal costs her parents' lives, and he holds her grandmother hostage to enslave Vera. Years of abuse from her aunt and cousin harden her—until she meets Syndra, the Moon‑Wolf Queen, at a birthday banquet. What begins as a calculated bid for revenge deepens into genuine love. Together they shatter the Ford family's empire. And later, with a sacred blood‑potion, Vera ascends to pureblood status, exposes Riley's atrocities, and finally claims a life of freedom and devotion.
