The husband with a mistress, the best friend who steals the fiancé, the partner who empties the joint account. These short dramas start at the moment of betrayal, usually within the first few episodes, and spend the rest of the series on what the wronged side does next: leaving, getting even, or proving everyone who doubted them wrong.
