I am Wren, an Omega.
My Alpha mate, Kade, lost his memory after falling from a cliff. He fell in love with the nurse who saved him and completely forgot me.
After being reborn, I stopped trying to awaken his memories.
I watched him burn my silver wolf hunting knife, smash the moonstone wall engraved with our names, and place the wolf-fang necklace he had once carved for me around her neck.
When she faked a fall into the water, he shoved me under.
When the kidnappers sank us into the lake and forced him to choose one of us, he chose her to live.
I sank beneath the surface, and the mate mark on the side of my neck split open.
Kade, the life-saving debt from my past life and my letting go in this one are both fully repaid.
Let’s never meet again.
