Ella is a Wall Street VC queen controlling a hundred-billion-dollar empire. Wanting an ordinary love, she hides her identity and stays behind Silicon Valley tech star Ryan. But when she tries on the custom wedding dress she waited six months for, Ryan gives it to Hollywood actress Daisy for the red carpet, freezes Ella’s assets, and forces her into the rain to carry Daisy’s train.
Heartbroken, Ella calls Leo, one of Wall Street’s most powerful men. Leo arrives backstage with guards and breaks Ryan’s wrist. Overnight, Ella cuts off Ryan’s funding, pulls her key patents, and reports his accounting fraud to the SEC. His business empire collapses, and he ends up in custody.
Bankrupt and homeless, Ryan is thrown onto the streets while Daisy runs off with his money. In the end, he watches Ella marry Leo in a lavish Manhattan wedding, realizing too late that he destroyed the happiness he once had within reach.
