Banished sorceress Nadia Sterling has spent twelve months fleeing those who want her unborn secret erased: the child she shares with Kaelen Thorne, ruler of the wolves. Returning from battle, Kaelen learns that Crystal survived and takes mother and daughter to Blackthorn estate. There, ancient bloodlines reject them while traitors work to tear the family apart. As the truth behind Nadia's banishment emerges, Kaelen must defy his court and claim the woman and child fate chose for him.
