THREADS

THREADS is a 30-episode short-form drama that follows Elena Everett, a young seamstress trapped in a trailer park in rural Georgia, who discovers that the man she has loved and sacrificed for three years has been manipulating her all along. When she finds a hidden stash of letters in which her boyfriend Cole and his friends mock her devotion as a running joke, Elena makes a decision in a single night: she leaves. She calls the father she has never met—Elliot Everett, a textile magnate in New York—and boards a Greyhound bus with nothing but a beat-up suitcase and a brass thimble warped by fire.

What begins as an escape becomes a reckoning. In New York, Elena steps into her father's company not as a charity case but as a force no one saw coming. She dismantles corrupt supply chains, exposes fraud, and launches a product line that lands her on the cover of Vogue. Meanwhile, back in Georgia, Cole begins a long, unsteady path toward accountability—returning every dollar he took, confronting the cousin who masterminded the scheme, and eventually finding work as an orderly in a hospice ward.

Spanning trailer parks and Manhattan penthouses, betrayal and redemption, THREADS is a story about the debts we inherit and the ones we choose to repay. At its heart is a brass thimble passed down from a mother who spent her life sewing other women's wedding dresses but never wore one herself—and a daughter who decides that the thread will not break with her. The series blends the emotional rawn
