The Wedding Where the Groom Disappeared

Harper Reyes, a seasoned wedding videographer who has shot hundreds of ceremonies, faces her own devastating wedding day when her fiancé Sebastian elopes with her bridesmaid Vivian.

Rather than collapsing in grief, Harper transforms the day into something profound: she invites guests to jot down their unspoken regrets on slips of paper. These notes bloom into a moving installation, then evolve into a photography series celebrating ordinary hands—brides, elders, mothers, laborers—each holding untold stories of love, loss and perseverance.

Over time, she faces her runaway groom, mends her bond with Vivian, and nurtures a growing “wall of notes” at a local nursing home. What starts as public humiliation becomes a quiet journey of self-healing: Harper lets go of the past, and finds peace in capturing life’s uncelebrated, honest moments.
