Five years ago, Elowen Thorne was dragged from the Rourke castle and cast into the rain, falsely accused of drugging pureblood patriarch Kaelen Rourke to force a blood bond. Broken and alone, she fled to the border—carrying a secret: she was pregnant with his child.
Now a gifted rune designer, Elowen raises her genius son Elian in hiding. A chance encounter reunites her with Kaelen, and the undeniable blood resonance between him and the boy cracks open the lies of the past. As truth unfolds, Kaelen will stop at nothing to win back her trust… and claim the heir he never knew he lost.
