A modern woman stayed in a primitive wolf-clan world for a warrior named Kael — and spent three years watching him break every promise. Displaced, betrayed, and alone on a mountainside, she lost their child in the cold. When the Blood Moon came, she walked home without looking back. Kael followed her across worlds. She didn't want him. Haunted by what he'd destroyed, he chose a road he knew he wouldn't survive.
