To save her kingdom, Queen Alicia sacrificed her hearing and voice to an abyssal curse. For years, she trusted her husband, Duke Kane, and her closest friend, Lady Vivian—until they cast her into the Abyss as an offering. But their betrayal awakens an ancient power: the radiant wings of the kingdom’s first sovereign. With her hearing restored and divine power unleashed, Alicia returns, pretending nothing has changed. Secretly planting listening crystals and reclaiming control of her throne, she turns every whispered plot against its makers. They still believe their queen hears nothing. Now she hears every word.
