Five years ago, Elena married Ryan and hid the truth about who she really was.
To the world, she was just his quiet wife.
To Ryan, she was nothing more than a woman who stood beside him while he built his empire.
But every deal he won, every investor who trusted him, every crisis that disappeared, and every door that opened for him had one name behind it—
Elena.
As an anonymous capital backer, she built the road he walked on. And he never knew.
Then Lia came back.
Fragile, sweet, and full of lies, she turned Ryan against his wife. And Ryan chose to believe her again and again, humiliating Elena while protecting the woman who wanted to replace her.
So Elena stopped explaining.
She withdrew her money.
She froze her guarantees.
She cut off every hidden resource that had kept Ryan’s empire alive.
As his company collapsed and the world turned its back on him, Ryan finally learned the truth:
The wife he betrayed was not beneath him.
She was the heiress behind him.
And once she walked away, he had nothing left.
