Poppy has a rare gift: she sees the number of future encounters written above every person she meets. For years, she thought Ben, her lifelong best friend, was meant to be hers, until his number begins to disappear. Then Noah, Ben's reserved roommate, enters her life with a number too large to ignore. As Poppy chooses an unexpected path toward Noah, Ben must face the painful truth that he may have waited too long.
