Aurora Pyrelyn dies with her black drake husband Rowan’s claws in her chest, only to wake on the day of their Soulflame Bond. This time, Rowan remembers too, and he chooses Aurora’s golden sister Celeste for the throne she was promised. But Aurora no longer begs for a love built on ambition. She gives Rowan away, chooses the mocked white dragon Silas Frost, and discovers his vow is the one loyalty she was always denied. As Celeste, Rowan, and Aurora’s father chase bloodline power, the Old Flame Law reveals its truth: Aurora is not the heir, but the one who chooses who deserves the Throneflame. Betrayed again, she takes back her stolen fire, breaks the old bloodline order, and flies free with the dragon who chose her first.
