For five years, Valerie endures Alexander's abuse, who blames her for his sister Sofia's death, unaware she donated a kidney to save him. Valerie falls ill, believed dead. Alexander discovers Camila was responsible for the tragedy, and tries to give Valerie his kidney. Valerie survives, and starts a new life alongside Sebastián.
