"The world had written Nate Ryder off as a failed awakening. Only he knew the truth: an SSS-class Thunder God slept within him.
In this era, talent meant privilege, and the weak were crushed. His father sold blood for a single awakening serum, ruining his kidneys. His bedridden mother was his only reason to fight.
At school, A-class prodigy Tyler Ashworth and his elite cronies bullied and framed Nate, even stomping his father's serum into dust. Corrupt administrators conspired to block Nate from the Federal Selection—his only way out.
Nate endured. He swallowed every humiliation, channeling his rage into silent training.
Then came the Selection—the grand stage where academy prodigies gathered. Tyler cruised through, eager to destroy Nate before the masses. No one cheered. No one expected anything. Nate walked onto the arena still marked as the lowest-grade awakener, mockery raining down.
Then lightning split the sky. The SSS-class Thunder God awakened. And the world stood still."
