Held under the tyrannical rule of the Holy Church, magic is branded heresy across the North. Elena, a gifted healer and illegitimate daughter, is betrayed by her half-sister Veronica and fiancé Grayson. They rip out her magic core and sentence her to the stake.
At death’s door, she bargains with the Ash Goddess for destructive ash magic—yet every spell erases fragments of her soul. Reborn seven days before her arrest, she allies with disgraced knight Marcus. The vengeful Ash Witch will overthrow her betrayers and ignite rebellion against the oppressive Holy Church.
