Under the god of war Ares's thousand-year wager, the cursed Spartan King Leonidas and Persian King Sasan are reborn as an immortal werewolf and vampire — reunited in the Middle Ages by a girl named Helen who bears the face of someone long dead. Her blood alone can suppress the beast within and kindle hope. Bound by a blood covenant and a blood-soaked fate, the three are drawn into a final showdown that spans a thousand years — where love and destruction collide.
