THE LAST COVEN

Logline: In 1348, as the Black Death devours Europe, a witch condemned by the Church discovers she is the fated union of all three supernatural races—and the only weapon that can stop the half-breed behind the plague.

Synopsis: Europe, 1348. The Church blames the plague on witches, and Isolde—a young woman with uncontrollable green magic—is chained to the stake. When her power explodes and heals the dying, she is rescued by Lucien, an ancient vampire who shelters plague refugees in his castle. There, Isolde learns the truth: she is the daughter of the last Wolf Queen, a witch-werewolf hybrid, and the Church murdered her mother.

When the Church burns her tribe and Gareth dies in her arms, Isolde joins Lucien to expose a conspiracy: the plague is brewed from the tortured blood of werewolves. Its mastermind: Malachi, the "Unholy One," a half-wolf, half-vampire abandoned by both races as an infant. Raised by the Church, he engineered the plague to annihilate humans and supernaturals and seize godhood. Malachi injects Isolde with a serum that awakens a third power—vampire blood—making her the Trinity, a being feared by all three races.

To stop him, Isolde must reunite the shattered peace Covenant of the three races on the Sacred Mountain before the eclipse. Joined by Agnes, the sister she never knew she had, she fights her way to the altar. The Covenant seals Malachi—but his evil flees into the parchment, and Lucien sacrifices his immortality to become the Seal Anchor beneath the mountain. Peace returns at a cost: Isolde has lost her magic, Lucien his eternity.

Yet darkness endures. Malachi's soul shard grows inside Isolde, worshipped by the Golden Eye Cult, whose assassins murder werewolf elders and crack the seal. Isolde purifies the shard—then learns she is pregnant. When the cult attacks on the day of her son's birth, the baby opens a third golden eye: Malachi has returned, possessing her child. Armed only with love, she holds her son and refuses to let the demon win. Her motherhood becomes the last covenant—and the child, named Hope, is born anew.
