With Her, While We Were Torn Apart

While top detective Marcus is celebrating his mistress Serena’s birthday, he hangs up on his pregnant wife Grace’s desperate call for help. Five months pregnant, Grace is cut open, her baby taken, and her body dismembered. Marcus personally leads the investigation, but every clue points back to his own wife. Time and again he refuses to believe the truth—until he discovers the real killer is the woman in his bed: Serena, daughter of the Warren Gang leader he once destroyed. Grace’s ghost lingers beside Marcus, watching as he slowly pieces the truth together. Finally, Marcus accepts that the victim is Grace, and all his past misunderstandings about her are torn away. Shattered by extreme guilt and regret over Grace’s death, he spirals into a breakdown and ultimately takes his own life with a gun.
