Tessa’s crush throws her cinnamon roll in the trash and calls her a fat pig in front of the whole class. When she finally stops begging to be chosen, she starts glowing up and catches everyone’s eye, including the boy who destroyed her. But Tessa has already chosen Adrian, the masked outcast everyone calls scarred and pathetic. By the time Chase wants her back, Adrian’s secret is out: he was never weak. He was the richest, most dangerous boy in the room.
