Garrett, the Chelsea family adopted son, is betrayed by five sisters who scheme to take his birthright. Robbed of his place in the family and pushed to the edge by a forced blood draw, he turns his back on them for good. With ambitious political contender Eleanor at his side, Garrett walks away and builds a new future. Too late, the sisters learn that Lucian engineered their betrayal, linking him to Garrett's mother's death and the hidden sins of the Laden family. Isabella gives her life to save Garrett, but even the truth cannot heal what was destroyed. Garrett chooses Eleanor, restores the family empire on his own terms, and leaves his former life behind.
