Kaestra, the newly crowned Dragon Sovereign of Blackstone Dragonhold, arrives in Aurelian for a political alliance, only to face humiliation from the frail yet calculating Princess Elara. A dispute over Kaestra’s sacred Royal Bell exposes deeper contempt, stolen alliance funds, and a conspiracy to weaken the thirty-six dragon-blooded clans. As imperial officials scramble to hide their corruption, Kaestra refuses to bow. With dragons circling beyond the capital, secret ledgers surfacing, and the court’s true intentions revealed, a diplomatic marriage turns into a dangerous struggle for power, dignity, and control between Dragonhold and the Aurelian Empire.
