Elara is the Moon's Voice—whatever she speaks becomes real. To save the world, she swore silence for ten years. Her husband Roman believed Vanessa's lies that Elara betrayed him. He cut off her hand, blinded her eyes, slaughtered her entire family—all to force her blessing. When her seven-year-old sister's head rolled to her feet, Elara finally screamed her first words in a decade. But she didn't speak a blessing. She spoke a curse: “The Lycan King's reign is rotten. The world will break.” Roman's kingdom crumbled. Frostmoon crushed him. Vanessa's heir was exposed as a bastard. Roman burned his own hall to let Elara escape. Ten years later, a new Lycan King united all packs—a strong age built without any Moon's Voice at all.
