Elite doc Christine catches mafia boss Damon's eye—her eggs are top-tier, and he wants his heir. She hates his guts: same mob that drove her mom to suicide. She rushes a wedding to escape, but Damon crashes the ceremony and snatches her. Locked in his penthouse, he comes at her hard every night; she fights back twice as hard. But slowly she sees past the ice—when someone drugs her, Damon burns it all down to save her. That twisted, obsessed devotion cracks her open. Christine drops the grudge. They end up together, damaged but locked in.
