Elara stands above every wolf clan, feared as the ruler whose command no Alpha can defy. Yet before Selene joins the powerful Vane family, Elara slips into their estate disguised as an insignificant Omega. She wants to learn whether Selene's intended husband deserves her trust and love.
Instead, she uncovers greed, betrayal, and cruelty. The Vanes covet Selene's valuable land and healing crops, while Asher secretly fathers a child with Lyra of House Gale and plots to abandon his bride. Certain that Elara is powerless, they insult and mistreat her at every chance.
But the woman they scorn is not a helpless stray. When Selene is finally threatened, Elara reveals the ancient force beneath her disguise. With the White Wolf awakened and the moon itself bearing witness, those who preyed on her sister must face a queen's unforgiving justice.
