At school, a privileged rich girl torments Ellie and sets her up for disgrace. But when the cruelty crosses a line, Ellie's quiet, devoted father steps out of the shadows. A convoy rolls in, loyal men bow, and those who dismissed Ellie as powerless learn exactly whose child they chose to betray.
