Don Julian Black thought he had it all: a loyal wife at home and a mistress carrying his heir. To please his lover, he forces his 8-month pregnant wife into an icy pool, ignoring her pleas for help. But Mia Reed isn't a victim—she’s a survivor. After a miraculous escape and a genius "cremation" ruse, she flees the country. Now, five years later, Julian discovers the ultimate lie: the mistress’s son wasn't his, but the daughter he thought he killed is alive. He’s bought the house next door, desperate for a second chance, but Mia has a warning: The only thing she’ll give him is the coldest revenge.
