I was born blind, but I could see every soul. In my last life, I used that gift to put Leon on the throne. He repaid me with poisoned wine, buried my sister as queen, and left my body for wild dogs. When I woke at the ball where princes chose brides, Leon had been reborn too. He chose Vanessa and laughed at the “useless blind girl.” Good. This time, I picked Duke Silas, the so-called cripple with the soul of a true king, and put the right man on the throne beside me.
