Claire’s tenth wedding doesn’t end at the altar—it ends with her fiancé tying her to a roadside pole so his fragile first love can slap her bloody. After ninety-nine blows and a night abandoned in the rain, Claire finally understands: her pain has always been the price of another woman’s tears. So she makes one call, moves her family’s fortune overseas, and prepares an eleventh wedding with another man. This time, she won’t be the bride left waiting.
