New York's two deadliest queenpins, Vera Marchetti and Bianca Conti, have been rivals for twenty years and lovers in secret. When Bianca is exposed as a fake heiress, stripped of her name, and thrown to the enemies she made for her family, Vera flies home to claim the only person allowed to kill her. Together they turn a blood debt into a power play, crush the Contis, and make the underworld watch its most dangerous enemies become wives.
