On the third anniversary of her marriage, Nora Bryan, a devoted housewife, was greeted by a betrayal of the most cruel kind. Her husband's affair with her former mentor, the usurpation of her family company, and a vile conspiracy to erase her social existence entirely.
"Everything that was taken from me... I will reclaim it without mercy."
Nora made a decision of sheer audacity. She planted a "new mistress" into her husband's life. The woman she chose was Tina Walter, an unassuming janitor. Transformed by Nora into an enigmatic beauty and shrewd investor, Tina dangled the bait of massive capital to lure the husband into a quagmire of ruin.
However, as the revenge drew to its end, the true target revealed itself to be another.
Amidst the swirling madness and desire, this was the fate of the "Checkmate" Nora had initiated.
