After a brutal breakup and a terrifying car crash, Lin Xia and her ex-husband Gu Han, along with her loyal husky Cang, get mysteriously transported to an ancient imperial dynasty.
Lin Xia wakes up as the Empress Dowager, while her beloved dog Cang has transformed into the young emperor—he still acts just like a goofy, loyal husky who only listens to Lin Xia’s orders. Worse yet, her arrogant ex Gu Han lands in the body of a lowly palace eunuch.
Chaos erupts daily: the dog-emperor loses all royal composure chasing golden balls at court, Gu Han grows bitter and schemes to regain control, and Lin Xia must protect her loyal pup while fighting off court rivals. Full of hilarious slapstick, heartfelt loyalty and dramatic twists, this whimsical fantasy short series follows a woman who escapes a toxic marriage and finds her greatest comfort in her faithful furry best friend.
