Eleanor Ashford never thought her quiet, ""poor"" husband Lucian was anything more than a useless adjunct professor. When their three-year contract marriage ends, she arrogantly grants him a divorce, expecting him to leave with nothing. Lucian agrees, walking away without a single cent.
But as the Ashford empire suddenly crumbles and Eleanor faces ruin, a shocking truth is revealed: Lucian was the mysterious mastermind who protected her family from the shadows all along. Even more terrifying? The world's most powerful billionaires bow to him in absolute reverence. He is not just a hidden tycoon—he is the ancient Vampire Progenitor, a being who has lived for over a thousand years.
Realizing her monumental mistake, a regretful Eleanor must fight to rebuild her empire from scratch. But to win back the ancient vampire who has already vanished into the shadows, she must first prove she is worthy of standing by his side as an equal.
