Ava Hart once used her family fortune and connections to build Ethan Black’s empire, only to be betrayed on their wedding anniversary when he drugs her, steals her assets, and sends her to the underground Black Rose auction as revenge for humiliating his lover, Serena. Bound onstage and priced piece by piece before powerful criminals, Ava secretly activates the emergency chip hidden in her wedding ring, unlocking the Hart family’s protection clause and a $20 billion trust. When Adrian Cross, the man she once left behind, storms the island to save her, Ava refuses to simply escape. She buys out the entire auction, gathers every record, destroys Ethan’s company, dismantles the Black Rose exchange, and sends both Ethan and Serena to prison. Years later, Ava stands as a powerful investor in her own right, no longer anyone’s wife, prize, or property.
