At her pre-wedding party, Maeve’s sister wagers that she can guess how many condoms Kieran is carrying. Kieran deliberately lets her win—and her prize is postponing his wedding to Maeve for three years. After seven years of waiting, Maeve refuses to wait again. She keeps the venue, moves the ceremony forward, and replaces the groom with Luciano, the powerful heir who has secretly loved her just as long. Certain she is bluffing, Kieran stays away—until the wedding begins.
