For three hundred years, Shane held Demon-Suppressing Pass, keeping the demon race at bay and the Eastern Union safe. But peace bred doubt. With demons unseen for generations, the court and the people branded him a fraud and cast him out. The moment he left, the demons returned. As the Eastern Union fell into chaos, Shane had already turned his back, crossing into the Ascendant Kingdom, where a new war awaited, and a deadlier legend was about to begin.
