Abandoned for being "too big," plus-size Ava spends her last six dollars feeding a kidnapped girl—the daughter of Dante Valenti, the city's most feared Mafia Don. The traumatized child clings to her, demanding she marry Daddy. As their contract marriage turns dangerously real, a greedy ex-wife, a treacherous uncle, and a venomous ex-husband close in. But the Don hides a secret only Ava's touch can heal. This soft-hearted, steel-fisted heroine is about to claim her throne.
