Eight years ago, he reached out to her; four years ago, she drunkenly climbed into his bed. Now Maren is the secret lover of Ezra, Wall Street’s ruthless tyrant—and her step-uncle. Humiliation, engagement, sexual desire, possession, and escape play out one after another. She flees to Boston; he searches all of North America to track her down and bring her back. Their forbidden love ignites into a scorching tale of regret, obsession, and wife-chasing: with the whole world against them, he still marries her in public.
