When mermaid Leah saves the wounded beastman Duke Caius, she conceives his heir—and inherits a deadly target. Her greedy foster father sells her off, while a jealous saint plots her ruin. Yet Caius defies his own lethal curse to shield her, and in doing so, Leah uncovers her royal lineage—and a century old conspiracy that framed the beastmen for her clan's annihilation. Together, they expose the true villain, heal an ancient rift, and forge a love powerful enough to unite two warring worlds.
