Laura, an experienced freight train driver, is framed by her resentful husband Daniel, who spikes her drinking water to produce a false positive alcohol blood test, stripping her of her driver post.
Refusing to surrender, she self-studies railway signal systems, obtains a signal engineer qualification, and takes part in developing "Eagle Eye", a new-generation safe dispatching system. Later, she renovates an abandoned old railway station into a popular railway-themed homestay called Homeward.
Going through divorce, her ex-husband’s death, and raising her daughter alone, Laura steps out of the plight, gains inner stability and freedom, and finally finds her own life’s homeward path.
