Evelyn had one shot: save her mother's life with a long-awaited surgery, a converted recreational vehicle, and a dream trip to California. But when her aunt Linda is refused the RV, she steals it, along with $20,000 of the surgery fund.
Evelyn fights back. She calls the cops. What follows is a war of lies, slander, and family betrayal—until the investigation unearths the dark truth about her father's death. Justice finally catches up. And Evelyn and her mother? They don't just heal. They start over.
