After three years in prison for a crime his brother Cyrus committed, Cedric is cast out and humiliated by his own family the night he's freed. Penniless but armed with lethal combat skills, miracle healing, and artifact appraisal—taught by a mysterious cellmate—he rises from nothing. He rescues Scarlett from a forced life, builds an empire from a rundown barbershop, defeats gang boss Drake, and wins the heart of CEO Tessa. Facing the powerful Bai family and their henchman Blake, Cedric crushes their traps, clears his name, and claims it all—the woman he loves and the city beneath his feet.
