Five years ago, Dragon King Xavier was "betrayed" by human Elena and returned to his kind in fury. He didn't know Elena sent him away to save his life—nor that she bore his daughter alone. Now five-year-old Nina finds Xavier through danger, begging him to free her jailed mother. Secrets, misunderstandings, and a family's fate hang in the balance.
