The much-anticipated Dragon Trial Ceremony begins, with prodigies from all great houses gathering in the arena. Once triumphant and unrivaled, Rick dominates the field with his fourfold S-Rank Talent. He defeats Rayne, a threefold prodigy, emerging as the brightest star and drawing the favor of the Five-Yuan Council.
To defend her clan’s honor, Ashley steps forward without hesitation to face Rick in a desperate duel. Outmatched by the gap in their strength, she falls, gravely wounded and trapped in mortal peril.
Just as all believe the outcome is sealed and none can stand against Rick’s might, the long-biding Clark steps into the fray. To save his benefactor and wipe away his shame, he strikes with overwhelming force, unleashing the heaven-defying power of the Dragon King. He lands a devastating blow on the arrogant Rick, and this sudden, earth-shattering twist stuns every soul present.
