Sloane was a fake mate assigned to heir Royce. For three years, he never marked her, spiked her drinks with suppressants, and humiliated her in public. His brother Kael, whose Thorne blood Sloane recognized at a ceremony, returned and proposed a deal: “Three months, he never pleased you once. I need one night.” One true bite shattered the fake bond. Sloane carried Kael's pup. Royce killed Magnus for the seat, kidnapped seven-months-pregnant Sloane, and confessed to everything—recorded live by the ring she wore. Royce was caged for life. Kael knelt before the pack and asked Sloane to be his Luna.
