In a world where marriage is a business decision and status is everything, a young woman must prove she is worthy of the man she loves—before his family chooses someone else. When Elara enters the elite world of the powerful Blackwood family, she is immediately dismissed as unsuitable for their heir, Alexander. But she refuses to walk away, determined to show them that love and strength are worth more than wealth and title.
As Elara fights to earn her place, she uncovers dark secrets within the Blackwood empire and a dangerous rivalry that threatens to destroy everything. Caught between family loyalty and forbidden love, Alexander must decide whether to obey his father’s will or follow his heart. In the end, they will learn that the greatest love stories are not the ones chosen for you—but the ones you fight to make your own.
