Skuld, the youngest Fate goddess, descends to the mortal world for her trial and is forced into marriage with Vincent, a mafia heir. She grants him boundless luck, but he betrays her, sends her to her death, and credits his success to another woman. Reborn, she severs Vincent’s fate thread, leaves his family behind, and becomes the wife of Alessan—a comatose godfather she awakens with her power. As she helps Alessan reclaim his empire, she uncovers the conspiracy that nearly destroyed him and the truth behind Vincent’s crimes. In the final reckoning, she must choose between returning to divinity or staying mortal with the man she loves. She chooses him, cutting away her past forever and rewriting her own destiny.
